Application Checklist

Complete Your Application
Complete and submit an application online. It saves your progress if you need to continue later. Your application will include:
- Two personal statements, 400-500 words each.
- Pastor Recommendation. The form will be automatically emailed to your pastor when you are prompted on the application.
- Transcripts & Test scores

Transcripts
Official transcripts must be requested from your current or most recent school. Transcripts may be emailed to admissions@masters.edu or mailed directly to

High School Requirements: 4 Years of English, 3 Years of Math, 2 Years of Science, 2 Years of History, no Foreign Language Requirement.
A minimum high school GPA of 2.75 is required.
- What is the average incoming GPA at TMU? It is 3.75 in 2022.
- What are the GPA requirements for the President’s Academic Scholarship? A minimum 4.00 GPA.
- What are the GPA requirements for the Distinguished Academic Scholarship or Honors Academic Scholarship? A minimum 3.75 GPA for Distinguished and 3.25 for Honors.
- Will I be admitted if my GPA is lower than 3.25? Yes, a minimum high school GPA of 2.75 is required.

Test Scores
TMU accepts ACT, SAT or CLT scores. Scores are optional for admissions and enrollment, but required for academic scholarships.
Minimum SAT score of 1020 (combined critical reading / math) or minimum ACT score of 21. Average SAT score is 1150 and average ACT score is 24 Note: The essay portions of both exams are not required. A minimum CLT score of 61 is recommended. See more CLT details here.

Financial Aid
Once admitted, your financial aid application is automatically submitted to our financial aid office. This does not include the FAFSA, so be sure to complete it at fafsa.ed.gov with our Federal School Code 001220. Students may also complete additional applications for Music, Athletics, and outside scholarships.
We offer merit-based scholarships, need-based grants, and federal/state Aid. In general, all aid is awarded up to 4 years/8 semesters and evenly disbursed between the two semesters.
