Bio

Todd began teaching for TMU at the Israel Bible Extension (IBEX), leading geography field trips, participating in archaeological excavations, and directing the student life program. During that time, he founded BiblePlaces.com and began developing the 20-volume Pictorial Library of Bible Lands, a collection of photographs designed for pastors and teachers of the Bible. He has written articles for the Archaeological Study Bible, authored the notes for 2 Kings for the NIV Biblical Theology Study Bible, and contributed a number of essays to the Lexham Geographic Commentary series. Todd is currently leading a team that is creating the Photo Companion to the Bible. Todd’s research interests include biblical archaeology, the Israelite monarchy, Psalms, and the life of Christ. He enjoys bike riding, traveling, and reading. Todd and his wife Kelli have five children.
