4 Year B.A + Teaching Credential

Overview

The 4 Year B.A in Liberal Studies, Teacher Education Emphasis + Credential Program is designed primarily for students who desire to become elementary school teachers. This degree path provides the background knowledge necessary to teach in an elementary classroom and provides an introduction to the career of teaching. Teachers have tremendous ministry opportunities through their influence on the lives of children, families, and communities, and our goal is to train effective Christian teachers who will impact the next generation with the gospel, both locally and abroad.

This “3+1” plan allows students to complete the BA in Liberal Studies, Teacher Education Emphasis in 3 years, and apply to enter the Credential Program in the 4th year. This accelerated program is intense and focused to allow students to both save money and to graduate and credential faster. This degree also meets requirements for students pursuing broader teaching careers, teaching credentials, or graduate teaching degrees, allowing graduates to reach students for Christ wherever they are called to serve.

  • • Innovative liberal arts curriculum utilizing leading-edge technology and methodology
  • • Seamless transition to our teaching credential program or M.Ed.
  • • Strong partnerships with local districts
  • • Integrated 4th Credential plan
