Management
Overview
Students in the Management emphasis study not only the pragmatic functions that managers perform, but also the overarching conceptual framework that organizations use to work toward common objectives. We quickly move our students beyond a basic understanding of management and teach them to make quick decisions, think critically, and analyze situations effectively, which are all essential skills for managers.
Our graduates are prepared to enter career paths in general management or, with further graduate studies, join one of the specialized management fields. They are also taught how to take on various roles in the business community with a Christ-like attitude and demeanor. More than simply having the needed skills for their future careers (which we do stress), our graduates also have the wisdom to be faithful witnesses for God through every interaction with their employers and those they supervise.
