Life Sciences Education
Overview
The Life Sciences Education emphasis prepares students for careers in teaching subjects like biology, physiology, and botany. Graduates may pursue careers in public or private sector education, or they may choose to pursue graduate degrees and/or research careers. The full-time faculty in this program have over 150 years of combined classroom experience, and our students have the option to smoothly transition into TMU’s teaching credential program, which has a nearly 100% job placement rate.
Our program is dedicated to academic excellence, real-world career preparation, and developing lifelong patterns of intellectual growth while also being uncompromising in the faith. Our students are intellectually competent and an exemplary testimony, holding firm to the truth and inerrancy of Scripture. Our goal as educators is to equip believers with an understanding of health and science, so that through their professional, academic, and spiritual testimony, the Master is exalted.

We hold Christ and Scripture as inerrant and above all else. Everything is interpreted through that lens without compromise. This means the bible is the foundation for science, not science for the bible.
