Pre-Arrival Checklist

Our goal is to help you succeed and do the best you can when you arrive here on Master’s Campus. Please complete the following steps to ensure that you have completed everything before you arrive:

1) Sign up for orientation and check your account for any stops

SELF SERVICE

(This link will prompt you to log on to Self Service and list any STOPS you might have. If there are no STOPS listed, you are clear. NOTE: A message stating you are not eligible to register refers to advisor authorization. This is a separate issue from a STOP. Contact your advisor or the Registrar’s office for authorization if you want to make any course changes.)

Travel Preparation

Packing

We highly suggest that you pack light and buy the majority of your necessities when you get here. There will be many opportunities to go shopping. We recommend that you only bring personal items with you.

Airport Pick Up

Make your travel arrangements to fly into LAX or BUR. If you need to be picked up from the airport, please note that we only provide transportation from LAX to TMU between 6am - 5pm. Please let us know if you will need a ride when signing up for orientation.

International students, MK’s, and other Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are invited to participate in a strategic orientation program called “Passport to Master’s.” This two-day program takes place prior to the traditional Week of Welcome (a week-long orientation for all new students). By arriving early, students have the opportunity to discuss specific cultural issues, become acquainted with The Master’s University (TMU) campus, and meet other students from around the globe. Passport to Master’s involves various seminars and activities, and culminates with a special dinner reception for the new students and their family members.

1. Register using the Registration Form for Passport to Master’s.

2. Fill out the Activity Release Form-f535e7.pdf and send it to iso@masters.edu.

3. If you are a F-1 visa status student, make sure to read and complete the following documents. It is important to remember to bring all necessary documents with signature to orientation.
