Computer Science
Overview
B.S. in Computer Sciences
The Computer Science emphasis is designed to give students a practical introduction to the science of computers. Our goal is to prepare CS students to excel in an increasingly complex technical world while living lives that glorify God. Students with this emphasis study computers both in theory and in practice, while also learning about the impact that computers are having on the world. Through it all, they are equipped with the wisdom to think about and use computer technology in a way that honors Christ.
Studying computer science at TMU helps prepare students for careers in a variety of industries. CS graduates are highly sought after by employers, and projected employment positions in the field have a faster than average growth rate. Our students also receive a solid foundation for pursuing advanced degrees in CS or related fields. And because TMU is a CompTIA Authorized Academy Partner, we have access to invaluable resources that promote our students’ academic and professional development.
