Driver’s License Letter

F-1 students who want to apply for a Driver’s License and that have a Social Security number follow the instructions found here. If you do not have a social security card, you will need to complete the Driver’s License Letter Form in order to receive a verification of status Letter to bring to the DMV in place of a social security card. You will follow the same steps as found here, but you will need to bring this letter in place of a Social Security number. Please complete and submit this form at least 3 business days to ISO before you plan on going to the DMV.
