F-1 students who want to apply for a Social Security card must complete the Social Security Letter Form that can be found here. For more information on all the steps that need to be completed follow the instructions found here. If you do not have a job offer you will not be able to apply for a Social Security Card. By completing this form, you will receive a letter verifying that you are eligible to apply for a Social Security Card and it does not mean that you can start working, it is only one step in the process. Please complete and submit this form at least 3 business days to ISO before you plan on going to the Social Security Office. If you have any questions, please contact us at iso@masters.edu!
